1Purpose
RW11-12 series AC High voltage drop-out type fuse cutouts is suitable for the use of short protection, overload protection and sharing load current of transmission and distribution lines or power transformers in electric systems with rated voltage of 12kV and rated frequency of 50Hz or 60Hz.
2Service Condition
2.1 Altitude is below 1,000 meters above sea level / below 3,000 meters for plateau model.
2.2 Ambient temperature of -40~+40.
2.3 Wind speed below 35 m/s
2.4 No corrosive or flammable gas in surrounding air.
3Principles and Features
The fuse cutout is made up of insulating support and arc extinction pipe. The fixed contacts are fixed on the up end and low end of the insulating support while the mounting plate is in the middle of it.
When operating, the fuse cutout is in series of the power line. the buttock line of the fuse locks the turning joint of the arc extinction pipe and the moving contact in normal operation. The arc extinction pipe is on position by the pressure of fixed contact. When the power system gets wrong, the fault current makes the fuse fusing very quickly and arcing in the arc extinction pipe. The vulcanized paper tube and the assistant arc extinction pipe make a lot of gas in the action of the arc, making enough pressure in the arc extinction pipe and strong lengthwise blow. It makes the arc stretch rapidly and extinguish by the strong action of dis-ionization when the current crosses zero.
Fuse cutout of burden type equips with extinguishing tube cover and arcing contact, which can share rated load current, to act as a switch dis-connector.
4Features
4.1 Excellent capability of open circuit, which can open currents of and below the rated drop out current and overload current. It meets the request IEC IEC282-2, DL/T640-1997, GB15166.3-94 standards.
4.2 Enlarged range of opening circuit because of step-by-step exhausting air, new type of high efficiency assistant arc extinguishing tube to open heavy and low current.
4.3 The arc extinguishing tube is a compound of vulcanized paper tube and epoxy glass cloth, ensuring high mechanical strength and open circuit capability above 3 times.
4.4 Insulating fixture is made of electric ceramics as well as connected to the up fixed contact and low contact both by clamping
4.5 Pressing metal parts of good interchangeability and maintenance.
4.6 Hot galvanizing steel parts and stainless steel elastic components enhancing the anticorrosion property and service life.
4.7 The fuse cutout equips low melting cell fuse of type T and type K, whose capability meets US National Standard ANSI C37.421981.
